About This Activity
Students can enroll in this single-day program, purchase multiple days with different themes, or enroll for the week-long "Afternoon Ecology - Bay vs Ocean Animals (M-F)" program for a discounted price. Students interact with and learn about the animals that live in the San Francisco Bay Estuary and local Pacific Ocean habitats. They have the opportunity to use real scientific equipment to catch and handle live animals, as they make comparisons between Bay and ocean animal adaptations. Students use teamwork to cooperate in small groups. Pre-care and aftercare are not available. *This program requires a minimum number of students in order to operate. If the program is cancelled due to low enrollment you can choose between a refund or a credit.
