About This Activity
1 week session with Marine Explorers or Naturalists . Volunteers assist Marine Science Camp Instructors and Counselors in the many facets of running a successful program. This includes but is not limited to: setting up and breaking down stations, helping with check in and check out, performing animal or water changes, participating in arts and crafts as well as clean up and re-stocking of supplies, participating in (and possibly leading) songs and games, and general classroom management. They also help mentor the Counselors in Training. Volunteers are expected to be positive and cheery, and enjoy working with young children. A 2-week commitment is required to volunteer. They do not need to be 2 consecutive weeks.
