About This Activity
Marine Explorers is a two-week adventure exploring Pacific Coast and San Francisco Bay marine habitats and animals. Marine Explorers enjoy 8 days at our site and 2 days aboard our ship learning about local ecosystems with live animals, hands-on activities, and themed games and crafts. Participants will have an in depth investigation of local marine ecosystems and learn how similar animals from different habitats have unique adaptations to help them survive. Please pack snacks, lunch, and water bottle. All participants are required to wear face coverings. Extended care is not offered or available. Cancellation policy: 20% of total program fees are non-refundable for cancellations made at any time. Cancellations between May 3 and two weeks prior to your camp start date result in a refund of 50% of total program fees. Cancellations within two weeks of your camp start date are non-refundable. Cancellations due to medical emergencies will be assessed on an individual basis. If federal, state or county COVID-19 mandates prevent MSI from operating Marine Science Camp programs, registrants may opt to donate program fees, defer program fees to their ACTIVE account to be used as a credit, or receive a full refund. Scholarship donations are non-refundable.
