This 16-week adventure explores Pacific Coast and San Francisco Bay marine habitats. Participants will have an in-depth investigation of local marine ecosystems and learn how similar animals from different habitats have unique adaptations to help them survive. The first part of the program will focus on San Francisco Bay habitats and local wetlands, the second part of the program will focus on Pacific Coast and oceanic habitats, and the final portion will dive into an exploration of adaptation, form and function. This program takes place on Wednesday January 20, January 27, February 3, February 10, February 24, March 3, March 10, March 17, March 24, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19 and May 26. No program on Wednesday February 17, March 31, or April 7. Cancellation and refund policy: Please pack snacks, lunch, and water bottle. All participants are required to wear face coverings. Extended care is not offered or available. Cancellation and refund policy: The 30% deposit is non-refundable. Program fees less the 30% deposit are refundable for cancellations made more than two weeks prior to the program start date. No refunds for cancellations made within two weeks of the program start date. If your child gets sick before or during program MSI will assess on an individual basis. MSI will fully refund fees if the session is cancelled* (*program cancellations due to federal, state, or county COVID-19 mandates will result in a credit transfer to a future program).
