About This Activity
***10 WEEEK ENRICHMENT*** Welcome to Musical Hands! In this class, we will be learning some foundational skills in American Sign Language. Your child will become familiar with vocabulary, how to sign correctly (The 5 Sign Parameters,) how to GLOSS (translate English to ASL,) a few conversational phrases, and work together to learn and perform a song in American Sign Language. The course will conclude with a showcase in my classroom, highlighting what they have learned for their families. Join us as we learn a little bit about Deaf culture and have a lot of fun doing it!
