About This Activity
**10 Week Enrichment** Year after Year this class is a favorite of our students! Dancers will be taught a curriculum I created myself based on the teaching style of Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD). Dancers will be taught an age appropriate curriculum either in pre-primary, primary, grade 1, or grade 2 level in tap, ballet, modern, and jazz. At the end of each session parents, family, and friends will be invited to watch a “showcase”. This will give you the opportunity to see what your child has learned in class. Each dancer will need a black leotard (any style). Dance shorts or ballet skirt. Ballet and tap shoes. No tights please (they are difficult to put on), but socks may be worn. Instructor bio: "My name is Louse Merchant and I’m the creator, owner, instructor, and choreographer of Little Star Dancers. I was born and raised in Newcastle, England. At the age of 3 my love of dance started. I was taught ballet, tap, ballet and jazz dance, and competed at a championship level until the age of 17.
