About This Activity
Enhancement Objective: Each participant will have the opportunity to learn about one or two different barnyard animals each day through a lesson of history, science, and animal husbandry. Each lesson will incorporate a form of arts and crafts, music or videos, and will be accompanied by a related snack or food item. Participants will also learn the basic difference between each breed, caring for the different animals, and how they enrich the world we live in. Some hands on experiences may occur. Day 1: Chickens/Ducks Day 2: Pigs Day 3: Horses Day 4: Cows Day 5: Goats/Sheep
