Kids on Stage presents A Christmas Carol Class meets Mon./Wed. 4:30-6:45PM October 13- December 12; Tues. 4:30-6:45PM November 11, 18, and 25 No rehearsal November 26. Extended tech week Monday December 8- Friday December 12, 4:30PM-6:45PM Performances: (NOTE: Performers must be able to be in all shows!) Sat. December 13 at 11AM (part of our Saturday Morning Family Series) Sat. December 13 at 2PM Sun. December 14 at 11AM Lunch will be provided for actors on Saturday December 13. For humans ages 7-17 Tuition: $375 Director: Rik Lopes Musical Director: Paul Schubert Stage Manager: Vera Perry PRODUCTION DETAILS Kids on Stage is excited to present the return of A Christmas Carol! Experience the holiday classic A Christmas Carol, adapted by Lou Trapani and inspired by the story by Charles Dickens. This version is a musical and features many Christmas carols and holiday classics. Ebenezer Scrooge loves one thing- money. But did he always? On a Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by four ghosts that warn him of his potential fate by showing him Christmases Past, Present, and Future. Will Scrooge change his miserly ways? Will Tiny Tim have a Happy Christmas? You'll have to join us to find out! During this workshop, participants will learn and reinforce basic stagecraft and acting techniques, learn basic singing technique and choreography, and experience putting on a production from auditions to performance. A pizza lunch at The CENTER is included for the two-show day! Being part of a performance is a commitment. Everyone’s presence is important. Please check your schedules before signing your child up for this workshop. Participants must attend all of tech week. If you cannot commit to this, please do not register for this workshop! *All registrations require a $30 nonrefundable deposit. Tuition is due two weeks before the workshop begins. We offer a payment plan option and a multiperson discount for family members registering at the same time.
