Kids on Stage presents Disney's Little Mermaid Jr.! Class meets Mon./Wed. 4:30-6:45PM February 24- May 2 Extended tech week Monday April 28- Friday May 2, 4:30-6:45PM There is no rehearsal April 14-18 Performances Sat. May 3 at 11AM and Sun. May 4 at 11AM (NOTE: Performers must be able to be in both shows!) For humans ages 5-17 Tuition: $385 PRODUCTION DETAILS Kids on Stage is excited to present Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking. Little Mermaid Jr. is full of magic and excitement, with many opportunities for actors to shine onstage. During this workshop, participants will learn and reinforce basic stagecraft and acting techniques, work on characterization, and experience putting on a production from auditions to performance. This play will have choral and solo singing as well as choreography. Being part of a performance is a commitment. Everyone’s presence is important. Please check your schedules before signing your child up for this workshop. **All registrations require a $30 nonrefundable deposit. We offer a payment plan option.
