About This Activity
Description
Division BDiscover the City of Rialto Basketball Experience!
Welcome to an energetic youth basketball initiative that goes far beyond a typical recreational league. Our program is designed to spark a love for the game while inspiring kids to grow physically, emotionally, and socially—all in a safe, structured, and exciting environment. We believe in celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, fairness, and equality, empowering every young athlete to shine and reach their full potential.
What Makes Our Program Special?
Dynamic Team Building: Our team placement process is all about balance and growth. Every season, players are placed on different teams and work with various coaches. While the frequent changes might seem unusual, this method helps players develop a well-rounded skill set, adapt to different playing styles, and build lasting connections throughout the league. Teams are created fairly with players assigned based on their skill levels. We do not accommodate special team requests, but families with siblings in the same age group can register them together for convenience but it must be noted during registration. We’ll do our best to schedule siblings on the same practice days—though we can’t guarantee this based on availability.
Fair Play and Registration: To keep things fun and fair, coaches are not allowed to recruit or register players on their own. Every interested child must sign up directly through Parks, Recreation & Community Services. And remember, each participant needs to submit a copy of their birth certificate by scanning and emailing it to Recreation@rialtoca.gov.
Age & Eligibility: Players must be between 10 and 11 years old to participate in this division. Age eligibility is determined by the player's age at the end of the season.
