Division 2 Co-Ed Volleyball (Ages 8–11)Our volleyball program for both girls and boys go beyond a simple recreational league—it’s a chance for young athletes to flourish in a secure, structured setting. We focus on building teamwork, sportsmanship, fairness, and equality, all while encouraging self-expression and personal growth.
Program Details: Season Dates: September 17, 2026 - November 12, 2026
All games take place at the Carl Johnson Center Gym (214 N. Palm Ave, Rialto, CA).
Division 2 Specifics:
- Practices: Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Games: Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm, 7:10 pm, and 7:50 pm Location: Johnson Center
Additional Key Dates:
- Parent Meeting: August 21, 2026, at 6:00 pm Carl Johnson Center
- Practice Begins: September 8, 2026
- Picture Day: October 6, 2026.
- No Practices/Games: November 11, 2026
- (Note: There is no skills assessment for this age group.)
Registration & Requirements: Registration: August 10, 2026, 7:00 am, online and in person. Players are assigned to teams without special requests; however, families with siblings in the same age group can note this during registration. A valid birth certificate is required for registration. Please scan and email the document to Recreation@rialtoca.gov.Refund requests must be submitted by September 18, 2026, at 6:00 pm either via email or in person at the Community Center front desk. Players placed on the waitlist will be contacted if a registered player withdraws.
Fees & Equipment:The registration fee covers participation and a volleyball jersey, which is distributed on the first game day. Spandex/shorts are not provided; knee pads are recommended. Players must wear their current season assigned jersey at every game. Replacement jerseys are available for $30.We encourage parents to purchase a volleyball for practice and home use—please label the ball with your child’s name. Note that personal balls are not allowed in the gym on game days.
