Coding and Robotics 8-Week Program ====================================== Programs at Wize Computing Academy® are designed to meaningfully extend STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) learning and expand a student’s mind through the development of critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills. 4 weeks: LEGO Robotics In this age of technology, we find usage of Robots in every sphere of our life. We prepare them by exposing them to the fundamentals of Robotics with Lego Spike Essential & Lego Spike Prime kits and correspondingly coding through Icon Blocks or Block Code or Python Coding. It brings together LEGO bricks, A programmable, multi-port Hub with Bluetooth connection Sensors - Color Sensor, Force Sensor, Distance Sensor Light Matrix Small & Big Motors Icon based coding/ Block Coding/ Python Coding There are limitless creative designs and their builds will amaze you. Tools Used: LEGO® SPIKE Essential & Prime Kits Students who do exceptionally well, we make them participate in various robotics and coding competitions including FIRST LEGO League. 4 weeks: Minecraft Education Game Development Kid-Friendly Theme: Game Studio Directors! Students aren't just playing games — they're building them. In this semester, your child steps into the role of a real game developer with a mission to design, code, and launch their very own playable Minecraft world. Tools Used: Minecraft Education Students will dive into game design and computational thinking by building fully playable games inside Minecraft Education. They'll design characters and interactive challenges — then put their creations to the test to complete the challenge. Every student walks away thinking like a developer, not just a player. All equipment, licenses and tools are provided to use in class sessions.
