About This Activity
T-BIRDS T-BALL 2-3 (PARENT CHILD) This program for 2-3 year olds is a 6-week parent-and-child activity designed for children as young as 2-years-old. It focuses on introducing basic baseball skills in an energetic and encouraging environment. Skills covered will include holding a bat, rolling, hitting, throwing, and running to bases. The program emphasizes fun and movement over intense skill correction. Parents will participate in the coaching with their own child and will learn valuable activities that they can use with their children at home. Jump Start Sports staff will lead all instruction. (12:00-12:20pm) *Any kids in the 3-4 age group who are not ready to be on the field without their parent can join the parent-child class.* T-BIRDS T-BALL 3-4 A fun and highly instructional introduction to baseball for 3-4 year olds. Players learn the basics of throwing, catching, fielding, batting, and base running. Then they apply what they have learned in fun, non-competitive games. All players will receive a team shirt and a baseball cap! Parents are encouraged to participate in the coaching, but the program will be run by trained staff coaches from Jump Start Sports. *Rotating Schedule* (12:30-1:30pm OR 1:30-2:30pm)
