About This Activity
As part of the Van City Ice Raiders, you can expect the following for the 2026 Spring season: Team Practices and Skill Sessions: We will hold regular practices and skill sessions at the Richmond Ice Centre (RIC) – these ice times may be a combination of early mornings and afternoons. There will be a total of 20 ice times (10 team practices and 10 team skills). Cost: The cost for the season is $2000+GST. This includes skill sessions, team practices and two local tournaments. Exhibition Games: We anticipate organizing 2-4 exhibition games. These are additional costs which will be included in team fees. Team fees are in addition to the cost of registration and will be collected closer to the start of the Spring season. Team Uniform and Apparel: All players will be expected to purchase home and away jerseys, home and away socks, and pant shells. Team apparel is also required and to be worn to and from games. Uniform and apparel are additional costs and will be included in the team fees. Equipment Requirements: Players are expected to wear black helmets, black gloves, and white laces. There is an expectation to look professional both on and off the ice. Travel Tournament: In addition to the local tournaments, we are planning to attend a tournament in Edmonton. The costs associated with this tournament will be in addition to registration and team fees.
