Players must be born in 2012 or 2013. Camp includes 8 hours of on-ice instruction (each day of camp consists of 2 back-to-back one hour sessions, with a 15 minute break in between). Elite players know that strong defense creates offense. This camp is designed for players who want to become more effective, reliable, and difficult to play against in all three zones. While the camp focuses on defensive concepts and tactics, it is built for both defenders and forwards looking to elevate their overall game. Players will develop key defensive skills including gap control, angling, stick positioning, body positioning, defensive zone coverage, puck retrievals, net-front play, and breakout execution. The camp will also focus heavily on hockey IQ, teaching players how to read developing plays, anticipate pressure, and make quicker decisions in game situations. Through high-tempo drills, small-area games, and game-specific scenarios, players will learn how to defend with confidence, win more puck battles, transition efficiently from defense to offense, and become more effective in competitive situations. Whether you're a defender looking to strengthen your defensive presence or a forward aiming to improve your 200-foot game, this camp will provide the skills, habits, and tactical understanding needed to make a bigger impact on the ice.
