Players must be born in 2014 or 2015. Camp includes 8 hours of on-ice instruction (each day of camp consists of 2 back-to-back one hour sessions, with a 15 minute break in between). Strong defensive habits help players succeed in every position. This camp is designed to teach players how to defend effectively, win battles, and make smart decisions all over the ice. While the camp focuses on defensive skills and tactics, it is built for both defenders and forwards who want to become more complete and reliable players. Players will work on angling, gap control, stick positioning, body positioning, defensive zone coverage, puck retrievals, and breakout execution. Sessions will also emphasize reading the play, managing pressure, and transitioning quickly from defense to offense. Whether you're a defender looking to sharpen your defensive game or a forward wanting to become harder to play against, this camp will help build the habits that lead to success on the ice.
