Explore the Wildcat Creek Watershed and the Regional Parks around Richmond by boating, biking, fishing, hiking, and participating in community service projects. You will also gain job skills and learn about careers in parks and recreation.
Here's what you commit to:
- Successfully apply + interview for a place on the team
- Meet at Richmond Recreation Complex (3230 Macdonald Ave, Richmond, CA 94804)
- Program runs July 13th through July 17th
- Program time is 9:00am-4:30pm, M-TH and 9am-6pm on Friday
- Work hard on service projects in the Parks
- Take part in career talks
- Be ready to go on outdoor adventures
Here's what you get:
- Up to 20 Community Service hours
- Work experience in Parks + Recreation
- Tips for applying to future jobs
- $200 stipend upon successful completion
- Fun! Meet new people!
Applications are due Friday, June 26th.
Interviews will take place July 7th and 8th, from 5pm– 7pm at the Richmond Rec Complex. You will be notified if you are accepted into the program after your interview.
