About This Activity
Campers spend an intensive week immersed in world percussion performance and history. Students will experience, perform and expand their rhythmic abilities on a variety of percussion instruments from around the world, including clave, hand drums and steel drums. Select students will also have the opportunity to play and perform with the Concert Band ensemble. This workshop is designed for high school students grades 9th-12th with previous percussion experience. Students wishing to attend both weeks of World Percussion/High School Band Camp should sign up for the World Percussion/2nd Week HS Band Option.
