About This Activity
This camp is for percussion students who wish to attend two weeks of high school camp. Campers will spend the first week immersed in world percussion performance and history. Students will experience, perform and expand their rhythmic abilities on a variety of percussion instruments from around the world, including clave, hand drums and steel drums. The second week, students will rehearse and perform with the High School Band ensemble. This camp is designed for high school students grades 9th-12th with previous percussion experience.
