PokéMath Adventures: Catch, Count & Conquer! Calling all young Pokémon Trainers! Get ready to embark on an exciting after-school adventure where Pokémon becomes the key to unlocking math confidence! Designed especially for **Kindergarten through 2nd grade**, this hands-on enrichment class transforms foundational math concepts into exciting games, challenges, and creative activities. Each week, students will use Pokémon-themed activities to strengthen essential early math skills, including counting, number recognition, addition, subtraction, patterns, graphing, comparing numbers, and simple problem-solving. Trainers will calculate battle points, compare Pokémon strengths, sort Pokémon by type, and complete fun math missions that make learning feel like play. Students will also design their own custom Pokémon cards, choosing health points, attack power, and energy values while practicing age-appropriate math concepts. As the weeks progress, they'll build their own custom decks, make strategic choices, and develop critical-thinking and logical-reasoning skills in a collaborative, encouraging environment. The adventure concludes with a friendly PokéMath Challenge, where students will use the custom cards they've created throughout the session to demonstrate their math skills, teamwork, and strategy in a fun, confidence-building celebration. Whether your child is already a Pokémon fan or simply loves games and hands-on learning, **PokéMath Adventures** offers an exciting way to build foundational math skills while making new friends and having a blast after school! **Please Note:** To ensure a fair and inclusive experience, students should **not bring Pokémon cards from home**. All game materials and custom Pokémon card templates will be provided by the instructor. Sep: 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Oct: 7, 14, 21, 28 Makeup Date: Nov 4
