About This Activity
Description
This class will be held at the First Presbyterian Church (1840 E Niagara) for a few weeks. We will notify families when this class will be moving to the new Weehawken Montrose Studio.Cast TBD. Show Week is December 7-13.
Ages 8-10.5. In this class students will be practicing ballet in a classroom setting following the level 1/2 guidelines of the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. Students will use the barre, practice turns and jumps, waltz movements, petite allegro, grand allegro, and develop a French ballet vocabulary. Students will practice maintaining correct posture and turnout throughout the entire class. Class emphasis is on the enjoyment of dance within the respect and discipline of classical ballet training. This class will perform in Cast C, Show 6 Sunday.
