Casting TBD. Show Week is December 7-13.This ballet class is for students with at least 4-5 years of formalized ballet training. This class requires instructor approval regardless of age. Dancers in this level will continue to work on technique and new material. Dancers in this level are expected to take ballet at least twice a week if they intend to participate on Pointe. This class is by invitation only. Dancers interested in taking this class must first be approved by Artistic Director, Natasha Pyeatte.
Weehawken Dance is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® NATIONAL TRAINING CURRICULUM, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Primary through Level 7 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teacher, Natasha Pyeatte, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 7 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
All Level 4/5/6 classes require prior approval.If we notice that your dancer is enrolled in a class they have not been approved for, we will reach out. If you are unsure whether your dancer has been approved, please email the class instructor for confirmation before registering.
