About This Activity
This camp is the creation of NCS Varsity Lacrosse Coach Chris Pollock, who also has years of experience in the Roanoke area and is a three-time All-American at Roanoke College. This year Coach Pollock is joined by Girls Coach Belderes. The camp is for boys and girls who are just getting started. The boys will train with Coach Pollock, and the girls will train with Coach Belderes. There are no pads in this camp. It’s all about basic skills, starting with getting comfortable with the stick. Passing and catching, scooping ground balls, and cradling while running with the ball are the heart of the program. Non-contact competitive drills will add some excitement to each day. All campers must bring a lacrosse stick. Students in grades 3- 6 are eligible for the camp. Please note this year there is a cancellation fee of $50 should you choose to withdraw from any camp after registering. There is a change fee of $25 if you decide to withdraw from a week and move to a different week. Please email ebrown@northcross.org if you should have any questions.
