About This Activity
Children often wonder "what does this button do"? In each hands-on session, we reveal the parts, functions, and shortcuts of a Chromebook keyboard, fostering curiosity and creativity for beginners to keyboarding in grades 3 and 4. Though a portion of our time will be actively completing typing challenges on a school Chromebook, the rest of the time will be spent completing activities, puzzles, and partner work which require no screen at all! Each week we will build upon skills learned in the previous session(s), culminating in a digital escape room, where students will put their new skills to the test.
