About This Activity
Allegro! String Camp is a program presented by the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra for string students ages 8-18 in the Roanoke Valley. This day camp will take place July 10 - 14, at Hollins University, from 9 am - 4:30. One hot meal will be provided each day. Students will be immersed in small ensemble coaching and playing, music literacy, strings techniques classes, and have one private lesson throughout the week. The camp will conclude with a final performance on Friday evening. Students of all ability levels are welcome to join, as students will be grouped with others at the same level.
