The half-day summer camp on transportation offers engaging and hands-on exploration of how people and goods move from place to place. Students will be rotated through age-appropriate activity stations that introduce different modes of transportation, including cars, trains, airplanes, boats, and bicycles, while learning basic concepts such as safety, energy, and design. Younger students will enjoy interactive games, story time, and simple building challenges using blocks and craft materials, while older campers will participate in problem-solving activities like designing model bridges, planning travel routes, and testing how wheels and ramps affect speed and motion. Throughout the morning, instructors will encourage curiosity, teamwork, and creativity through discussions, experiments, and outdoor movement activities. By the end of the camp, students will have gained a broader understanding of transportation systems and left excited about how engineering and innovation help connect communities every day. Please note: After April 1st, there is a cancellation fee of $50 should you choose to withdraw from any camp after registering. There is also a change fee of $25 if you decide to withdraw from a week and move to a different week
