This foundational course establishes the core mechanics required for effective defensive pistol use while building performance under pressure. Students will develop proper grip, stance, sight management, trigger control, and recoil management—creating a repeatable shooting process rooted in accountability and efficiency. In addition to marksmanship fundamentals, this course covers speed reloads, malfunction identification and clearing, movement, and multiple target engagement. Shooters will refine recoil control, improve target transitions, and develop greater efficiency in weapon manipulation through structured drills and performance-based standards. Emphasis is placed on accuracy under time constraints, safe weapon handling, and building a solid operational baseline. Pistol 1 sets the standard for performance within the Operator Series and prepares students for advanced application across multiple platforms. Train with discipline. Perform with purpose.
