About This Activity
Description
It is recommended that students take both Ballet III and Ballet III/IV each week in order to experience a higher level of achievement.
Our sequential program focuses on the adagio and allegro movements in combination with elementary Pirouettes. Importance is placed on the development of strength in the legs and feet to prepare students for Pointe work. Dancers continue to stretch, develop stability in turns and to perfect smooth connections of movements while students develop strength, flexibility, and placement. The Russian (Vaganova) Technique continues as students advance.
NOTE: Younger students may enroll with teacher's permission - admittance is based on level, not age.
