This course prepares participants ages 11-16 to safely provide care for infants and children. Learn important skills like diapering, feeding, and holding children, in addition to safety and emergency response. Upon completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate from the American Red Cross. Instructor Jennifer Harris is an independent, licensed training provider. She earned her degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Southern Maine and has held numerous Red Cross certifications over the years including swimming instructor and lifeguard. With a passion for teaching, Jennifer prides herself on providing a learning experience that is engaging, fun, and informative. A lifelong Maine resident, she resides in Washington with her husband Neil, and has two young adult children who also live in the area.
