About This Activity
Posy pendants were worn in Victorian times as a means of expressing deep sentiments through the language of flowers. Each flower held a different meaning. Students will choose a design from provided options then embroider a 1” by 1.5” surface to mount on a pendant to wear. Materials are included (an embroidery hoop, floss, needle, fabric and a metal pendant). Class is suitable for all levels of students ages 18 and up. Instructor Germaine Koomen is a fiber enthusiast, hiker, and teacher.
