About This Activity
The primary purpose of Babysitter’s Training is to provide youth intending to babysit the necessary knowledge and skills to care safely and responsibly for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills and become better babysitters. They will learn about basic childcare, how to keep themselves and others safe, and how to build a babysitting business. Successful participants will be certified in Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid. Designed for youths 11 to 15 years old. Must attend all three days. Instructor Andrew Eckman recently retired after 45 years in emergency services (police, fire, EMS, emergency management, executive protection, and corporate security). He has been a medical instructor for more than 35 years and has trained several thousand participants in various life-saving skills.
