About This Activity
This class is for beginners in wood carving. Learn the art of carving a wooden spoon from an instructor who has been carving for over thirty-one years. Spoons can be small or large, carved plainly or with decorative handles, and made from a variety of wood. For a second project, the instructor will offer a variety of other small objects, such as birds, jack-o-lanterns, or small animals to carve. At the first class, we will discuss the tools you will need and how to use them. The materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor at the first class.
