About This Activity
We will be making a cowl using various knitting techniques. Prerequisite skills: casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off. Skills we’ll cover: various textured stitch motifs, yarn overs, simple lace patterns, cables, knitting from a written pattern, “reading” your knitting, and fixing mistakes. A materials list will be emailed to each student prior to the start of class.
