About This Activity
Description
With instruction and assistance from Imperial Centre education staff, participants ages 7 years of age and up will build, launch, recover and keep their very own flyable model rocket! Drop-off and pick-up are at the Children’s Museum & Science Center classroom, except for Friday, the final day of camp, which is Launch Day, when we will meet at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join us on Launch Day, to cheer on your junior rocket scientists and find out how you can continue model rocketry launches as a family!NOTE: Last Chance Summer Rocketry Camp is an introductory level camp, intended for kids who missed or were otherwise unable to attend earlier Rocketry Camps.
