About This Activity
Description
In the search for other worlds, we can learn a lot about our own planet. Kids ages 7 and up will learn how scientists search for extra-solar planets, planets that orbit other stars. Using earth-based telescopes and space-based observatories, scientists have discovered thousands of these worlds. What might extra-terrestrial life be like on such planets? We’ll explore these and other science topics as we each create personalized works of fluorescent space art for temporary public exhibition here in at the Imperial Centre.
