Ages are as of October 1st. Teams are formed based on age and school districts. Coaches will meet Mid-August to receive rosters/equipment and choose practice times. After that meeting, coaches contact players by phone or e-mail. Practices will begin in late August. Games will begin in Mid-September. The game schedule is 8 weeks long, the season could extend past that with makeup games due to weather.
Games for this league will be played at Waid Park and Rec Park. The league plays on a 40 x 60 field. This league uses a size #4 soccer ball.
*Players that wish to move up to the next league early must register for the league that there age puts them in. During registration the parent should include a note in the space provided giving the participant permission to move up to the next league. The participant must be within one year of moving to the next league to be eligible to do so.
*Players that wish to play down once they have aged out of a league will be allowed to do so if they are less than one year removed from that league and a doctor's note is submitted noting a medical reason that the participant needs to stay back.
During the late registration period, participants are placed as needed. Late registration will open until August 15 as long as space is available on teams. Late registrations will be closed if teams fill up.
Registration Fee is refundable up until the registration deadline (Aug 1). Registration fees paid after August 1 and Late registration fees are non-refundable.**If a player wants to move up a league: The player must be within one year of moving into that league. When registering online the parent/guardian needs to register the player for the age group that they belong, then put a note in the designated area giving permission for the player to move up to the next league.
**Players can only play down if there is a medical reason and a doctors note must be submitted. Players can not be more than one year outside of the league they wish to stay in.
**If there are siblings in the same age group that need to be placed together, please make not of it on the registration.
