Description
Ages are as of October 1st. Teams are formed based on age and school districts. Coaches will meet Mid-August to receive rosters/equipment and choose practice times. After that meeting, coaches contact players by phone or e-mail. Practices will begin in late August. Games will begin in Mid-September. The game schedule is 8 weeks long but may go longer for make up games if needed.Games for this league will be played at Waid Park and Rec Park. The league plays on a 25 x 35 field with 4 x 6 goals. This league uses a size #3 soccer ball.This league does not use goalies and plays 6 v 6 to help players get more touches and develop ball handling skills.*Players that wish to move up to the next league early must register for the league that there age puts them in. During registration the parent should include a note in the space provided giving the participant permission to move up to the next league. The participant must be within one year of moving to the next league to be eligible to do so.
*Players that wish to play down once they have aged out of a league will be allowed to do so if they are less than one year removed from that league and a doctor's note is submitted noting a medical reason that the participant needs to stay back.
*If you are registering siblings in the same league that need to be together, please note that on the registration.
*Late registrations will be placed as needed. Late registrations will be accepted until teams are full or until August 18.
Registration Fee is refundable until the deadline (Aug 1). Registration fees received after August 1 and late registration fees are non-refundable.
