Ages as of December 31, 2025
Teams are formed based on age/school district. Not every elementary school district will have a team in their area but we will group them as closely as possible.
Practices begin late March and games begin in April.
Practice balls and catchers equipment is provided per team. Each player needs to have a glove, batting helmet, face mask for defense and cleats. Face masks for defense are required for any defensive player in the infield.
Franklin County will play in the RAYSA League this spring (Roanoke Area Youth Softball Association). Practices will be held in Franklin County. Games will be held in Franklin County and surrounding areas.

This league is for girls ages 11 and 12 as of December 31, 2025. If any 12 yr old girl would like to play up in the 16U age group she will need to be 12 by 12/31/25, no exceptions. To register her for the 16U age group, you would need to register for the age appropriate group (12U) then include a note on the registration giving her permission to move to the next league.
Feel free to include requests on your registration, however, please note that requests are just that and it is not a guarantee that we will be able to fulfill all requests.
Registration Deadline: March 2
Late Registration is available for an additional $15 from March 3 to March 18. Late registration may close prior to March 17 if teams fill up.
Registration fees are refundable until March 2, 2026. Late Registration Fees are non-refundable.
