Ages as of December 31, 2025.
Teams are formed based on age and school district. However, each district does not have a team so players are grouped as closely as possible.
Franklin County will play in the RAYSA League - Roanoke Area Youth Softball League. Practices will be held in Franklin County. Games will be played in Franklin County and surrounding areas. RAYSA provides an end of the season tournament.
Practices begin late March and games begin in April.
Practice balls and catchers equipment is provided per team. Each player needs to have a glove, batting helmet, defensive face mask and cleats.

Registration Deadline is March 2.
Late registration is available for an additional $15 from March 3 to March 18. Late registration may close prior to March 18 if teams fill up.
Registration fees are refundable until March 2, 2026. Late registration fees are non-refundable.
