About This Activity
Give your first grader the gift of a lifelong love of reading! This small-group class, taught by Dapplegray first grade teacher, Ms. Lloyd, is designed especially for first graders. Students will read engaging, grade-level stories that spark curiosity and joy, exploring characters, settings, and story elements from both familiar favorites and exciting new books. With plenty of opportunities to share ideas and discuss stories in a supportive setting, children will build reading confidence, strengthen comprehension, and enjoy learning alongside friends. 10 class sessions.
