About This Activity
Boost your first grader’s reading skills and phonics practice in a fun, small group setting! Taught by Dapplegray’s own first-grade teacher, Ms. Lloyd, students will bring stories to life using short play scripts featuring phonics patterns they are learning in the classroom. Students will read aloud, take on different roles, and work together as a cast while building fluency, confidence, and communication skills. The small-group setting provides plenty of opportunities to practice reading while having fun with friends and making new ones. There will be no class on Wednesday, November 11. This class will meet for 9 sessions.
