About This Activity
Get ready to power up your coding skills and unlock the world of technology at our Coding Camp! Students will be programming small circuit boards with a lot of power! They will learn about Computer Science concepts while creating and coding their own interactive apps and games. The Adafruit Circuit Playground Express has many inputs (a toggle switch, buttons, temperature sensor, sound sensor, light sensor) and outputs (buzzer and LED lights). Students will have an opportunity to build physical computing devices that their user can interact with to make it work. Projects will include a Catch a Bug game, an Emoji Race game, and a mini interactive light show. Every student gets to take home an Adafruit Circuit Playground at end of camp! Lunch provided Transportation provide from local middle school to and from C.O.O.R. Advanced Technical Innovation Center in Roscommon.
