About This Activity
This course will focus on concepts and techniques from Irish stick fighting, Bataireacht, pertaining to the use of a shillelagh for offense and defense. These concepts and techniques can be directly applied to canes, umbrellas or other improvised weapons dependent on production needs. Craic (fun) will be had, while at the same time stressing the seriousness of the fight, proper training and safety.
