About This Activity
Description
Sprouts programs encourage family learning and help foster early childhood connections with nature. Through art, stories, activity stations, and outdoor explorations, children will learn natural science, use motor skills, practice colors, shapes, and more. A snack is included.
- April: Sounds of Spring: Giggle, wiggle, and tap your feet to the songs of the season! Listen to bird songs, discover how animals communicate, and make your own nature music.
- May: Nifty Nests – Cozy up like the squirrels and the birds! Count eggs, practice making your own nest, and check the trails to see who is nesting nearby!
- June: Fabulous Flowers – Smell some flowers, rake some dirt, give the plants a drink! Have fun getting to know summer’s first blooms!
