Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel then add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a fast-paced whodunit for anyone who loves the magic of theatre! This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters, an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance. Our two-week Summer Theatre Camps runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with optional early drop-off at 8:00 a.m. and late pickup until 6:00 p.m at no additional charge. Performances happen on the Saturday following the final day of camp (show times TBD). Campers receive daily instruction in acting, improvisation and acting for the camera as they rehearse for a final performance under the lights and in costume on the Penfold stage for family and friends. Tuition is $475, with sibling and multi-session discounts available, and all instructional and production costs are included. Lunch and snacks are not provided. Campers should bring a sack lunch, two to three snacks, and a refillable water bottle each day.
