Step into the magical world of musical theater! In this playful and imaginative introductory class, young performers will explore the basics of acting, singing, and dance in a fun and encouraging environment designed for young learners in PreK and Kindergarten. Students will learn beginning vocal skills through group songs and ensemble singing, explore creative storytelling and character through acting games, and practice simple choreography and movement inspired by kid-friendly musicals. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, creativity, teamwork, listening skills, and stage presence, all while having a blast! This class is perfect for energetic young imaginations who love to sing, move, pretend, and perform. Throughout the semester, students will work together toward a short “mini musical” presentation to be shared with family and friends during the final class. NOTE: Due to demand, this course is offered on Mondays at 4pm and Wednesdays at 4pm. Students DO NOT need to enroll in both classes. Instead, families are encouraged to enroll their student in either class, depending on which best meets the needs of their schedule.
