Take center stage and shine in this dynamic introduction to musical theatre! Specially designed for 1st and 2nd graders, this engaging 12-week course invites budding performers to step into the spotlight as they discover the core fundamentals of singing, acting, and dance. Meeting for one hour each week, young artists will develop vocal projection and pitch through lively ensemble numbers, explore character development through interactive drama exercises, and master fun, coordinated choreography set to popular songs from family friendly musicals. As students learn how to weave music, movement, and storytelling together, they will naturally expand their self-confidence, stage presence, creativity, and collaborative skills. Whether your child is a seasoned performer at home or trying the stage for the first time, this class provides a warm, supportive space for creative energy to thrive. The semester culminates during the final week with an exciting musical showcase, giving family and friends the opportunity to cheer on the ensemble! NOTE: Due to demand, this course is offered on Tuesdays at 4pm and Thursdays at 4pm. Students DO NOT need to enroll in both classes. Instead, families are encouraged to enroll their student in either class, depending on which best meets the needs of their schedule.
