Step into the spotlight and elevate your performance skills! Designed for students in 3rd through 5th grade, this high-energy 12-week course dives into the core components of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing. Meeting for one hour each week, young performers will strengthen their vocal technique, pitch, and simple group harmonies while singing ensemble selections from popular musicals. They will sharpen their acting skills through character work, script exercises, and stage blocking, alongside learning dance combinations and stage choreography. Through this collaborative process, students will build confidence, artistic expression, team focus, and a stronger foundation in stagecraft. Ideal for both curious beginners and returning performers eager to grow their talents, this class provides a supportive environment where creativity and performance thrive. The semester concludes during the final class with a musical showcase for family and friends to celebrate the group's hard work and talent! NOTE: Due to demand, this course is offered on Wednesdays at 5pm and Thursdays at 5pm. Students DO NOT need to enroll in both classes. Instead, families are encouraged to enroll their student in either class, depending on which best meets the needs of their schedule.
