About This Activity

Our Player Development Program is our most competitive program. It is year round and is designed to help athletes and their support systems navigate the world of competitive golf. It will consist of supervised group practice sessions, on-course play, and individual sessions. Our coaches have extensive experience playing and coaching at the highest levels of amateur and professional golf, and want to pass this knowledge on to those who have lofty goals. Players in this program are excelling in their age group, and have expressed interest in playing golf at the highest levels. OVERVIEW The Compete to Win Development Stage is all about holistic athlete optimization- after all, not all athletes are built the same. It consists of creating a competitive environment for athletes to cultivate the resilient mindset needed to perform at the highest level. **SKIP March 27 Player Development Key Concepts 1.Optimize Ball Striking 2.Optimizing NCIG Core Performance Skills + Fitness/Nutrition/Recovery 3.Understanding ball flight laws and ability to change trajectory/curvature on command 4.Optimize Speed, Accuracy, and distance control with all clubs 5.Heightened awareness with strategies to adapt to changing conditions. Specific event-based situation/simulation training that utilizes a variety of short game shots to achieve outcome in varying conditions. 6.Optimize Putting/Short Game/Full Swing 7.To learn how to successfully adapt the pre-determined game plan based on real time. 8.Planning and navigating competitive tournament schedule 9.Acquire a thorough understanding of personal tendencies (i.e. Success & Failures) 10.Optimizing/Understanding personal statistics, to drive preparation and performance Benchmarks 1.To gain ball speed of 160+ mph 2.Strive to hit Greens in Regulation 60-85% of the time 3.To get up and down in two strokes within 50 yards (50-75%) of the time 4.Holing Putts Percentages – 1-3 ft. (96%), 4-5 ft. (75-85%), 6-10 ft. (20-30%), 11-15 ft. (20-30%)
