About This Activity
This clinic is geared towards experienced players (rec to comp, not new to soccer players). Score more goals! This unique training program focuses on one of the most exciting and important aspects in the game of soccer - SCORING GOALS! Training focuses on the key skills required to be a top goal scorer and will help players improve their finishing ability in a variety of situations. This program is not just for strikers but for all players who want to improve their goal scoring ability. Topics covered (striker): Correct technique for striking the ball, 1v1's in the final third, Breakaways, Shooting from a distance, Volleys and half volleys, Fast footwork skills, and Finishing under pressure. What equipment is needed? Shin guards and Soccer cleats. This 7-week course includes a jersey and a ball. Class Dates - Sept 4, 11, 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, 16 In the event of inclement weather or session cancellation, a makeup is scheduled for Oct 23. Drop-off begins 5 minutes before class starts.
